Can a 6-Week WhatsApp program change how young adults eat?
NCT ID NCT07042412
Summary
This study is testing a 6-week educational program called Ta'am Mustadam to see if it helps young adults at a UAE university make more sustainable food choices. The program uses WhatsApp to send videos, recipes, and reminders to encourage eating more fruits, vegetables, and plant-based foods while cutting back on red and processed meats. Researchers will measure changes in what 80 participants eat, their knowledge, and their intentions before, right after, and one month after the program ends.
