Practice makes perfect: Surgeons-in-Training hone skills on simulators before real patients
NCT ID NCT07268950
Summary
This study aims to find out if a structured practice program using surgical simulators helps train residents to perform key surgical techniques. Nineteen surgical residents will practice on artificial models and animal tissues in a lab, not on real patients, and their skills will be measured before and after the training. The goal is to see if this type of training is effective and helps residents gain confidence before moving to the real operating room.
