Doctors-in-Training learn better by making mistakes on simulators?

NCT ID NCT06729372

Summary

This study tested a new way to train medical students on a hip fracture surgery simulator. Researchers wanted to see if students learn better when they are told to deliberately make and learn from mistakes during practice, compared to being told to avoid mistakes. The trial involved 70 medical students and measured how well they retained and transferred their surgical skills after training.
