New device aims to ease Surgeons' strain in common operation
NCT ID NCT07445880
Summary
This study tested whether a new self-locking stand for a surgical tool could reduce physical fatigue for surgeons performing hysterectomies. One hundred patients were randomly assigned to have their surgery with the new stand or with the traditional method where an assistant manually holds the tool. The main goal was to see if using the stand made the surgery less tiring for the surgical team.
