Surgeons test 'X-Ray Vision' tech in the operating room

NCT ID NCT05268432

Summary

This study is developing and testing a new computer system to help surgeons during abdominal surgery. The system uses patient scan data to create a real-time, on-screen map showing the location of blood vessels, organs, and tumors. Researchers are enrolling 40 patients to see if this technology works reliably in the operating room and to gather initial data on whether it helps surgeons.
