New surgical thread tested to stop bleeding in robotic operations
NCT ID NCT03937011
Summary
This study evaluated how well a special surgical suture controls bleeding during two types of robotic surgeries: weight loss procedures and hysterectomies. Doctors observed 161 patients who received this suture during their operations. The main goal was to see if the suture effectively prevented significant bleeding at the surgical sites.
