Researchers translate tool to measure patient fear before surgery

Summary
This study aimed to translate a Dutch questionnaire about surgical fear into Danish and test if it works well for Danish patients. About 200 adults scheduled for surgery at a Danish hospital were asked to complete the new questionnaire and two other standard ones. Researchers then checked if the new questionnaire's results matched up with the others to see if it is a valid tool for measuring fear.
