NCT ID NCT06416618

First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study looks at whether surgery helps people aged 50-65 with a displaced shoulder fracture recover better than non-surgical treatment. About 60 participants will be randomly assigned to have surgery (with plates or nails) or to go without surgery. They will fill out questionnaires about pain and shoulder function at 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years to see which approach works best.
