When to operate? major trial tests best timing for ovarian cancer surgery

Summary
This study looks at the best time to perform surgery for women with advanced ovarian cancer. It compares having surgery right away versus having chemotherapy first and then surgery. The goal is to see which approach helps patients live longer. About 800 women with stage IIIB to IV ovarian cancer are taking part.
