First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving patients information about the environmental impact of surgery affects their treatment choice. About 400 people with gallstones will use a decision aid that includes sustainability details. The goal is to see if more patients choose a less resource-intensive 'wait and see' approach instead of surgery.
