NCT ID NCT03353311
Summary
This study checked how closely eight hospitals in Rome followed established recovery guidelines for patients having colon surgery for cancer or diverticulitis. It involved 1000 patients and aimed to see if following the guidelines more closely led to fewer complications and shorter hospital stays. The goal was to understand current practices and build a regional network to promote these recovery methods.
