Summary
This study asked over 800 Danish adults what matters to them when preparing for day surgery or a colonoscopy. Researchers wanted to see if feeling prepared before the procedure was linked to feeling less worried and having a better recovery at home. Patients filled out surveys on the day of their procedure and again three days later to track their experience.
