Summary
This study aims to understand how well tissues receive oxygen during major surgeries like abdominal or orthopedic operations. Researchers will use painless sensors placed on the chin and hand to measure oxygen levels and blood vessel function in 150 adult patients. The goal is to see if these simple measurements can detect problems with blood flow earlier than standard blood tests.
