Glowing dye could help surgeons spot hidden tumors

NCT ID NCT07315841

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging method to help surgeons see a rare joint tumor more clearly during surgery. Patients receive a safe dye before their operation that makes the tumor glow under a special camera. The goal is to see if this glowing light helps surgeons find and remove all the tumor tissue, which could lower the chance of it growing back.
