Heated chemo bath tested in surgery to fight advanced stomach cancer
NCT ID NCT07178808
Summary
This study is testing a two-part treatment for stomach cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen. First, patients receive chemotherapy and a minimally invasive heated chemo wash. Then, they undergo major surgery to remove visible tumors, followed by another heated chemo wash inside the abdomen. The goal is to see if this aggressive approach helps control the cancer and helps patients live longer.
