Summary
This study looked back at 20 years of medical records for 72 children with a rare and dangerous form of Wilms tumor, a childhood kidney cancer, where the tumor had spread into a major blood vessel. The goal was to analyze past surgeries to find the best techniques and create clear guidelines for future operations, aiming to improve safety and survival for these complex cases.
