Personalized surgery trial aims to extend remission for ovarian cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07295132
Summary
This study aims to determine if adding a second major surgery to chemotherapy helps women with recurrent ovarian cancer live longer without their cancer worsening. It focuses on carefully selecting patients whose cancer is responding well to chemotherapy and who are most likely to benefit from the surgery. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either surgery plus chemotherapy or chemotherapy alone to compare outcomes.
