New study tests which surgery works better for pelvic support

NCT ID NCT06307873

Summary

This study compared two surgical procedures for treating pelvic organ prolapse in women. Researchers followed 70 women aged 35-75 to see which surgery—sacrospinous fixation or V-notes lateral suspension—led to better anatomical recovery and quality of life. The study measured physical recovery and sexual function before and after surgery to determine which approach was more effective.
