Study tests which surgery best stops unwanted leaks
NCT ID NCT07398144
Summary
This study compares two common surgeries for stress urinary incontinence in women, where laughing or coughing can cause leaks. It will follow 60 women for six months to see which procedure—laparoscopic Burch colposuspension or transobturator tape—has better success rates and fewer complications. The goal is to help doctors choose the most effective long-term treatment.
