Mayo clinic tests preemptive brain tumor surgery

Summary

This study looks at whether removing brain tumors with surgery after chemotherapy or radiation, but before the tumor returns, is safe and works better than waiting. It involves 40 adults who have had prior treatment and still have visible tumor. The goal is to see if this timing improves survival and reduces side effects.
