New jaw surgery method skips braces first

NCT ID NCT07433842

Summary

This study is testing a different order for treating a misaligned jaw. Instead of wearing braces before surgery, patients get the surgery first to fix the bone structure, followed by braces. Researchers are following 60 patients for a year, using 3D scans to see how well the correction holds and how the face changes.
