Summary
This study tests whether a structured communication tool called the StOP?-protocol improves patient safety during surgery. Surgeons are randomly assigned to either use this checklist or communicate as usual during operations. Researchers will compare patient outcomes like death rates, reoperations, and hospital stays between the two groups to see if the tool makes a difference.
