NCT ID NCT07354334
First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study explores whether listening to Surah Al-Inshirah in the first two days after a C-section can improve spiritual well-being, reduce depression symptoms, and strengthen mother-baby attachment. About 172 first-time mothers who are Muslim will be randomly assigned to either listen to the recitation plus standard care, or receive standard care alone. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost practice can support emotional recovery after childbirth.
