First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at a treatment called pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) for people with chronic shoulder pain that hasn't gotten better with standard care like painkillers or physical therapy. The treatment uses a short burst of energy on a nerve in the shoulder to reduce pain and improve function. Researchers will check 60 adults before treatment and again at 1 and 3 months after to see if it helps with nerve-related pain and overall shoulder health.
