New program aims to ease the heavy burden on parents of young cancer patients
NCT ID NCT07139769
Summary
This study is testing a group support program designed to help parents of teens and young adults (aged 15-39) with cancer manage their own stress and build resilience. Researchers will first adapt an existing stress-management program based on feedback from parents, then pilot it with 48 participants to see if it's practical, acceptable, and helpful in reducing parental distress. The goal is to provide emotional support tools to parents during their child's cancer treatment.
