First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new immune cell therapy called Super Hi-TCR-T cells in 30 people with advanced liver cancer that has not responded to standard treatments. The cells are designed to attack multiple targets on cancer cells. Participants receive the cells after a short chemotherapy course. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and can slow or stop cancer growth.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a new treatment option for people with advanced liver cancer that has stopped responding to other therapies.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The therapy involves chemotherapy pretreatment and carries risks like immune reactions or side effects from the cells.
