Summary
This study looks at whether simple, non-invasive brain monitoring tools can give doctors early clues about recovery in patients who need emergency life support after a cardiac arrest. Researchers will use a pupil light reflex device and a brain oxygen sensor before starting ECMO, and then track results over the next few days. The goal is to see if these measurements are possible and useful for guiding treatment decisions. About 45 adults will take part.
