Super CAR-T takes on advanced liver cancer in first human trial
NCT ID NCT07493044
First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new treatment called Super CAR-T for people with advanced liver cancer that has not responded to other therapies. The treatment uses a patient's own immune cells, modified to target a protein (GPC3) found on liver cancer cells. The main goals are to find a safe dose and check for side effects, while also seeing if the therapy can shrink tumors. About 15 adults with GPC3-positive hepatocellular carcinoma will take part.
