New eye drop aims to fight stubborn pink eye

Summary

This study tests a new eye drop called SUM-191 for bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye). First, healthy volunteers will receive single or multiple doses to check safety. Then, people with pink eye will use the drops to see if they cure the infection and improve symptoms. The trial involves about 426 participants and is not yet recruiting.
