Summary
This study aimed to see if a compound from broccoli called sulforaphane could improve social communication and behavior in people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Researchers planned to give 50 participants with ASD the compound daily for 8 weeks and compare them to 30 healthy volunteers. They wanted to measure changes in social skills and brain activity to understand how it might work.
