Sound wave weapon joins fight against tough pancreatic cancer

NCT ID NCT05601323

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a focused ultrasound treatment called Suizenji to standard chemotherapy helps people with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be surgically removed. It is for patients whose cancer did not respond well to or who could not tolerate their first chemotherapy. Researchers will compare survival and disease control between those who get the ultrasound plus chemo and those who get chemo alone.
