Can a short course train students to spot and stop suicide?
NCT ID NCT07052240
Summary
This study is testing a training program designed to teach university students how to recognize warning signs of suicide and help connect at-risk peers to support. About 420 students in Spain will be randomly assigned to take the training immediately or after a waiting period. Researchers will measure if the training improves students' knowledge, reduces stigma, and increases their confidence and actions to help others.
