New study aims to prevent suicide in High-Risk veterans after community care

Summary
This study looks at whether a program called VA Brief Intervention and Contact (VA BIC) can lower suicide risk in Veterans after they leave a non-VA mental health treatment center. About 120 Veterans who recently had suicidal thoughts will take part. Researchers will track their suicidal thoughts and mental health visits to see if the program helps.
