First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study compares two types of surgery for stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when coughing, sneezing, or lifting). One uses a supportive sling (TVT), the other tightens the urethra without a sling (ULP). Researchers will follow 200 adults for one year to see which surgery better controls leakage and has fewer side effects.
