Scientists track eye changes after a sugar rush

NCT ID NCT07376005

Summary

This study aims to understand how a single dose of sugar affects a specific layer at the back of the eye called the choroid. Healthy volunteers who are not diabetic will have their eyes scanned before and after consuming sugar tablets. Researchers will measure changes in the thickness of this eye layer over a three-hour period to gather new information.
