Summary

This study tested whether a drug called sugammadex helps the bowels start working again sooner after open hernia repair. 184 adults having surgery for a ventral hernia were given either sugammadex or standard care. The main goal was to see how quickly patients could eat solid food and have their first bowel movement after surgery.
