Calmer Wake-Up? drug tested to soothe Post-Surgery agitation

NCT ID NCT07253428

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called sugammadex helps patients wake up more calmly after nasal surgery, compared to the standard drug used to reverse anesthesia. It involves 486 adults having procedures like septoplasty or rhinoplasty. The main goal is to see if sugammadex lowers the risk of agitation, confusion, or combative behavior as patients regain consciousness.
