Summary
This pilot study tested a program called Care Navigation to help people with substance use disorder find and start treatment. Researchers worked with 74 patients at a mental health access center to see if offering extra support from a care navigator would increase treatment use. The study focused on how many patients were interested in the program and how easy it was to get their consent.
