New injection shows promise against tough cancers

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new drug called STX-001, given as an injection directly into tumors, either alone or with another drug (pembrolizumab). The goal is to see if it is safe and can shrink or control advanced solid tumors, including melanoma. About 108 adults with tumors that can be injected are taking part.
