New cancer drug injected directly into tumors enters human testing
NCT ID NCT06249048
Summary
This is the first study in people testing an experimental drug called STX-001, which is injected directly into tumors. Researchers want to see if it is safe and if it can help shrink tumors in adults with advanced cancers that have stopped responding to standard treatments. The study will test STX-001 by itself and also combined with an existing immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab), focusing on cancers like melanoma and triple-negative breast cancer.
