Summary

This study tested two treatments for painful nerve endings (neuromas) that can form after a leg amputation. 26 adults received either a steroid injection or a heat-based treatment (radiofrequency ablation) guided by ultrasound. The goal was to see which method better reduces pain and improves daily life.
