NCT ID NCT07266454
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests a new feature in prosthetic knees that helps people catch themselves when they trip or stumble. About 50 adults with a leg amputation who already use a prosthetic will try the new function in a lab and in daily life. Researchers will measure how often the knee prevents a fall, how safe users feel, and whether it boosts confidence. The goal is to make prosthetic legs smarter and reduce fall risk.
