Doctors get report cards to fight superbugs

NCT ID NCT07431190

Summary

This study aims to see if giving family doctors and nurse practitioners personalized feedback about their antibiotic prescribing habits helps them prescribe fewer unnecessary antibiotics. Over 7,600 healthcare providers in British Columbia will be randomly assigned to receive this feedback report either early or later, so researchers can compare the two groups. The goal is to help fight the growing problem of antibiotic resistance by improving how these common medications are used.
