Can a simple letter to doctors help stop superbugs?

Summary
This study aims to see if giving doctors and nurse practitioners personalized feedback about their antibiotic prescribing habits helps them reduce unnecessary prescriptions. Over 7,600 healthcare providers in British Columbia will be randomly assigned to receive this feedback early or later, allowing researchers to compare the two groups. The goal is to find an effective way to combat antibiotic resistance by improving how these drugs are used in everyday practice.
