Could hidden toxins in Mom's diet affect her baby?
NCT ID NCT05371106
Summary
This study aims to understand if harmful toxins from moldy foods can pass into breast milk and affect a baby's early development. Researchers will test breast milk from 150 mothers in Israel for these toxins and ask about their diets to find potential sources. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to provide treatment, to better understand this potential health risk.
