Summary
This study looks at whether giving advanced cancer patients and their caregivers a special information sheet helps them communicate better with their doctors. About 207 patients will receive either a question prompt sheet or a general information sheet before their first visit with a palliative care specialist. Researchers will measure how helpful patients and caregivers find the materials and their overall satisfaction with the consultation.
