Scientists track immune flaws to predict future illness
NCT ID NCT06762002
Summary
This study aims to understand how specific weaknesses in a person's immune system affect their long-term health. Researchers will follow 500 adults in France who have either a genetic defect or self-made antibodies that weaken a key antiviral defense. The goal is to see if these people are more likely to get serious infections or autoimmune diseases over the next 1 to 4 years.
