First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests a new exercise program for people with foot drop after a brain injury. Participants get Botox injections in tight calf muscles, then follow either a special rehab sequence (fatigue then strengthening) or standard rehab. The goal is to see if the new approach improves foot-lift strength and walking better than usual care. About 30 adults with mild-to-moderate spasticity will take part.
