Summary
This study looks at different ways communities respond to crises, like sending mental health workers instead of police, to see if they reduce violence among young people. Researchers will study 15 U.S. cities that use these models and compare crime rates before and after they started. No one receives any treatment or medication—this is purely an observation and analysis study.
