Heart device clot mystery: study aims to uncover hidden risks
NCT ID NCT06177704
Summary
This study aims to better understand a complication called device-related thrombus (DRT), which is a blood clot that can form on a heart device implanted to prevent stroke. Researchers will follow 100 patients who have already developed this clot to see how often it persists or comes back, and what health risks that poses. The goal is to gather clearer information to help doctors manage this condition more effectively in the future.
